When I started working in IP, I was amazed how little I’d thought about inventions and new ideas.
Designs protect the way things look. There are different types of protection available for designs. Registered design rights are offered at the IPO but there are also unregistered rights and European design rights.

Many innovations today are simple adaptations of everyday items or concepts. Once imagined, they change our lives and simplify problems overnight.
We all know that when running a business, there are a whole host of procedures and requirements that you need to remember and adhere to.
Protect it, or forget it. Design, that is! Why? Only good design gets copied so many designers may run the risk of their IP being infringed.
